Der Sommer war lang und warm. Also hat das Elchgetüm sich lieber im kalten Bunker verkrochen und ein paar neue Songs geschrieben. Jetzt reicht das aber auch erst einmal, also gibt es uns gleich zwei Freitage in Folge wieder live on stage - am 05.10. in Essen und am 12.10. in Kamen.

Hoppla, da haben wir aber lange kein News-Update mehr gemacht!

Unser Album ist wie geplant auf einer wunderbaren Release-Party veröffentlicht worden, vielen Dank auch hier noch mal an KULT on Tour, Fleischwolf, Seng-Fu und alle die mitgewirkt haben. "Kills Again... In Space!" ist jetzt käuflich zu erwerben, bisher allerdings nur auf Konzerten und über uns persönlich. Wir arbeiten an anderen Wegen ;)

Desweiteren ist unser Merch um Buttons und Shirts erweitert worden. Greift zu, macht euch noch hübscher und uns noch glücklicher!

Whoops, we haven't given you any Updates for quite some time now, did we?

Our album has been unleashed on a wonderful release party, thanks again to KULT on Tour, Fleischwolf, Seng-Fu and everybody involved. "Kills Again... In Space!" is available for now only at our gigs or directly via the band. We're working on other ways of distribution ;)

Also our merch has been stocked with Buttons and T-shirts. Go get'em, make yourself even more pretty and us even more happy!

Right now we're doing some booking so stay tuned and stuff..

3 Wochen vor dem Release wird es aber auch langsam mal Zeit, dass wir euch einen vollen Track auf die Ohren geben. Natürlich direkt mit Video dabei.

Nun ist es offiziell: am 17. Februar 2018 werden wir unser Debut-Album "Kills Again... In Space!" veröffentlichen. Natürlich gibt es auch eine dicke Weltuntergangsparty im Don't Panic Club Essen organisiert von der Veranstaltungsreihe KultOnTour. Mehr Infos dazu findet ihr hier...

It's official now: we'll release our debut longplayer "Kills Again... In Space" on February the 17th in 2018. Before our earth will be destroyed we'll party our release at Don't Panic Club in Essen, organized by KultOn Tour.

Renommierte Astrophysiker berechnen noch das genaue Datum des Einschlags.

The Hubble Space Telescope shot first pictures of a coming danger. In 2018 the Elchgetuem will arrive at earth. How often was argued that it would be impossible that Ufos hijacked a moose? We have the proof.

Noted astrophysicians are still calculation the exact day of the impact.

It started on Monday the 9th of Septembre. We sat in our car at 7 in the moring, got to our rehearsel room, played a little bit of Tetris until all our stough fitted and soon we'd been on our way to Luebeck.

Got there, we first found our appartement and then made sight seeing tour. On tuesday we went to the Rosenquarz Record Studio. Seven days of studio felt like fun and coziness instead of hard work. But we recorded 55 Minutes of monstrous music. Now the tracks getting mixed and mastered, so you have to wait for a while - so do we.

Next sunday we play in Dat Links the title track of this album for the first time. The official release will be in early 2018.

Unsere selbst aufgenommene Vorproduktion ist nun soweit fertig und die wichtigsten Fragen sind für uns bereits geklärt. Die Vorfreude auf das eigentliche Recording im Studio ist getüm.

Was gibt es sonst noch Neues? Ach ja... im Februar waren wir ja im Wald und sind mit Fotos vom Elchgetüm zurückgekehrt. Da es abenteuerlicher war als es klingt und weil wir mittlerweile die Vorfälle verarbeitet haben, wollen wir euch das Videomaterial von dieser Jagd in einem neuen Vlog zur Verfügung stellen. Das Ganze haben wir mit einer Version von Trees Of Concrete aus der Vorproduktion unterlegt. Und keine Angst: bald gibt es das auch in einem fetten Rosenquarz Sound.

Nicht zu vergessen: Am 29.9. spielen wir ein Konzert im  Dat Links in Essen Borbeck. Mehr Infos dazu findet ihr hier.

Our preproduction is done and all important questions got answers. We can't wait for recording.

More news? Yes... you remember last february, we've been taking pictures of the Elchgetuem in the forests. It was a very dangerous hunt and it lasted a few month for us to be able to talk about, what happened. Now we wanna show our documentation to you in our latest vlog and we set it to the music with the song Trees Of Concrete of our self-made preproduction. Soon this song will be available in well rocking Rosenquarz sound.

Nun ist es offiziell: Wir werden im September für eine Woche ins Studio gehen. Gebucht haben wir das Rosenquarz Tonstudio im schönen Lübeck.

So langsam kristalisiert sich auch heraus, welche Songs auf unser erstes Album kommen, wie es heissen wird und in welchem Design wir das Ganze gestalten.

It is now to be official: in september we are going make a studio record. Therefor we booked the Rosenquarz Tonstudio in the beautiful north.

At the moment we're choosing the songs, the name and the design for our first album. Our idea is going to get clearer every day.

In der Röhre Röööaaahhhrts am besten.  Am 21.6. spielen wir im Tube in Düsseldorf. Eigentlich wollten wir ja in Ruhe unsere Aufnahmen vorbereiten, aber bei der Gelegenheit konnten wir dann doch nicht "Nein" sagen. Live macht einfach zu viel Spaß.

A growl sounds better in a tube. Next wednesday we'll play at the Tube in Düsseldorf. Actually preparing our recordings we couldn't say "no" to this possibility. It's too much fun, playing live.

Um etwas herstellen zu können, muss man in der Regel zunächst kaufen. Also haben wir unser Equipment ein wenig erweitert. Wir haben zwar bereits ein Studio kontaktiert, um eine der produktivsten Reisen in unserem Leben dorthin zu machen, haben uns aber zugleich dazu entschieden, eine Vorproduktion selbst aufzunehmen. So können wir mit der Grundlage aufbrechen, dass jeder weiß, was der andere tut.

Welches Studio? Welche Songs? Wann? - Ihr werdet es bald erfahren!

Before nearly every act of production comes a purchase. So we needed an little equipment expansion. Although we already contacted the studio of our choice to do one of the most productive trips of our lifes, we´ve chosen to do a selfmade preproduction so that we can start it with a well organized fundament of 'everyone knows what the other one does'.

Which studio? Which tracks? When? - We´ll tell you soon!

Elchgetuem: das Videospiel! Keine Angst... wir haben zwar viele Ideen, aber so verrückt sind wir auch nicht.

Lassen wir stattdessen kurz Revue passieren als wäre Elchgetüm ein Videospiel: Das erste Level ist in der Regel wie ein Tutorial. Bei uns dauerte es genaugenommen zwei Proben und plötzlich hatten wir drei Songs, einen festen Probetag und ganz viel Eifer, aus Elchgetüm mehr zu machen als ein gutgemeintes "Wir könnten doch mal...".

Die zweite Phase haben wir erstaunlich schnell gemeistert. Nur drei Monate später stand ein Set von eineinhalb Stunden, eine Online-Präsenz und ein Plan, bei dem wir Stand jetzt noch voll auf Kurs sind.

Level Drei haben wir soeben beendet: Elchgetüm going into the wild. Unsere beiden ersten Gigs haben wir mit Spaß hinter uns gebracht und schon folgt das erste große Abenteuer. Also noch einmal Speichern, gut vorbereiten und im Herbst werden wir ins Studio gehen, um ein Album aufzunehmen.

Ruhig werden wir in der Zwischenzeit aber sicher nicht sein.

Elcchgetuem - the video game! Don't panic... we have a lot of weird ideas, but we Font have this kind of over the top stupidity.

Let's take a look into the past as if our band was a video game. Level 1 is called tutorial. Two Rehearsals and we had three songs, a fix routine in our meetings and a lot of enthusiasm to let Elchgetuem grow out of a nothing.

We finished phase two in less than three months and resulted with a set-length of one hour and a half. We created our website and social media accounts. But we also had a plan and we are still following in time.

Now we're coming out of phase 3: Elchgetuem going into the wild. We rocked our first two gigs with a lot of fun and look forward to the next adventure. So we save the moment, take a deep breathe, prepare and will produce a record in fall 2017. We promise not to be quiet until then.

Wir können es kaum erwarten, in vier Wochen endlich als Elchgetüm auf der Bühne zu stehen.

Doch auch abseits dessen sind wir fleissig. So waren wir im Wald, um das Unwesen zu jagen, zu fangen und in ein digitales Abbild zu verwandeln. Noch vor dem Gig wird es also offizielle Fotos geben.

It's hard to wait for getting on stage as Elchgetuem in four weeks.

Beside this we are busy. For example going to the woods to hunt, catch and convert the nuisance into a digital copy. There will be pictures even before the debut gig.

Voller Freude können wir euch nun offiziell die ersten beiden Auftritte des Elchgetüms bestätigen. Unser Debut geben wir am 18. März im Ground Zero (Essen) und zwei Monate später spielen wir - organisiert von Metal for Mercy e.V. - am 13. Mai im Dat Links (Essen).

Die Songwritingphase ist beendet und nun haben wir die Qual der Wahl. Was soll ins Set, was auf die EP?

Hinzu kommt ein wenig organisatorischer Kram, den man als Band so machen muss, aber dafür haben wir unseren rechteckigen Freund: dem Bürokrater. Ihm haben wir sogar einen Vlog gewidmet.

Außerdem haben wir uns dazu entschlossen, euch drei weitere Songschnipsel in unserem neuesten Video zu präsentieren.

We just finished songwriting and now we have to do big descisions. Which songs do we play, which of them do we record first?

Added to this we have to organise a few things you have to do, when you are a band. The Bureaucrator - a folderformed friend of us - helps. So we dedicated a whole of our vlogs to him.

Besides we decided to tease three more songs to you in our newes video-log.

Keine drei Monate alt, läuft das Elchgetüm aufrecht. Noch etwas wacklig, wenn es von Stock auf Stein geht, doch es lernt mehr und mehr seine Gegend kennen.

Zum Jahresende werden wir 20 Songs in drei Monaten geschrieben haben. In den nächsten drei bis zu unserem Debut werden wir diese nun auseinandernehmen, optimieren und die vielen Texte auswendig lernen.

Ach ja... Aufkleber gibt es auch bereits!

Not even three month of age, the Elchgetuem walks straight. Its motion is a little bit rocky yet, when the path leads from sticks to stones, but it is getting to know its surrounding more and more.

At the end of this year we'll have written 20 songs in three month. In the following quarter of the year we'll analyze and tweak our songs up to our debut gig. And we have to learn a lot of lyrics.

Last but not least... there are paste-on labels yet!

Sticking to the eleventh act of the Elchgetuem, we'd often been asked on question: how long will it be before we can listen to? Thus we decided to record a tryout to show a few clippings to you.
